Communicate Reflection



A discussion of how the communicate module has prepared me to meet each standard is provided below:

Standard C:  Through the exploration of various apps I was able to design and implement learning strategies that will be utilized in the virtual classroom to increase student collaboration.

Standard D:  Understanding the importance of communication and how it enhances learning aids in the success of the learner.  I showcased apps that are utilized for instruction an they are as follows: Bitmojie, Gifs, and Evernote.

Standard E: The expectations of using netiquette was mentioned in my blog post.  The guidelines to successfully communicate was explain within the post. 

Standard J &K:  A newsletter and email was formulated to effectively communicate expectations with students, parents, and stakeholders.  Guidelines to communicating students grades were shared (phone call, text messaging & emails).

In conclusion, the communication methods I will take away are the laws regarding proper communication with parents in reference to grades.  I will definitely utilize more newsletters to communicate expectations, and upcoming dates of importance.  The communication lesson most beneficial to me was the online rubric.  It was easy to use and saved time.  A discussion of how the communicate module has prepared me to meet each standard was discussed.

Pinterest is an excellent educational  source when searching for visual aids for instruction.   I personally use Pinterest to search for exercise for my students to complete. Create 4 - Aggregating Lesson Material

Answer in your blog : Thinking about instructional design, how does each tool benefit the learner by aggregating and presenting material in a cohesive manner? Are there drawbacks to the tools you researched?  Wix Wix is a free website building platform it's beneficial to the learner because of the flexibility of website design.  Wix is functional because coding is not necessary to create an attractive interchangeable website.  The learner may have the flexibility of creating without restrictions.   The less restrictions allow the learner the opportunity to focus on course expectations verses website design.  In return learning can be fun and interactive.    Lesson material can be easily shared on WIX through adding apps, uploads  and sharing links.  The drawback is it's primary function is design it's not solely a unalloyed CMS although it does have some features that operate as a CMS .  Also...
