Evaluate Reflection

The Evaluate module has prepared me to meet each standard.  An example of each standard is provided below: Standard D:  Examples of effective feedback was provided showcasing clear expectations and communication between my student and I. Rubrics were provided showing the grading expectations.   Please see below. Standard G, J, and I:  The online teacher demonstrates competencies in creating and implementing assessments in online learning environments in ways that ensure validity and reliability of the instruments and procedures. Evaluate 3 - Personalized Teaching and Learning

Next : Include the following in your blog Artifact : Provide sample data from student results for a course within your field. The data can be entirely theoretical and written out in text form. Create : Examine your sample student performance data. Create an action plan that you would implement in your classroom to personalize teaching and learning.  Provide both a class and individual approach in your plan. Evaluate 2 - Rubrics and Competencies

Create : For this section, set up a competency structure using standards for one unit of your sample course. Associate the assignments in that unit with the competency. A screenshot of the standards-based competency structure and a detailed explanation of why you created the structure that way. Include a discussion of the various pathways a student may go through to attain the competencies in the unit . I created the standards-based competency structure through the use of quick rubric.  I choose the rubric because of the educational language used to determine the students level of understanding.  The maximum and minimal amount of points is shown and the level of progress is explained in detail.  Students are allowed two ways to deliver the assignment.  Students may display their work by acting out the (original) skit or by displaying a cartoon (originally drawn & illustrated). Evaluate 2 - Data Driven Instruction & Analysis

Based on your analysis of the (9) nine data images, how might the teacher adjust the course in the future based on the previous activity of these students? What other uses does data have for online instruction? What advantages do teachers who utilize data have over those that do not? Analysis of the (9) data imag es *The instructor has students who have various needs.  Some students are higher achievers, others are lower or have a medical condition that requires educational adjustments.  I also noticed that the classrooms do not appear to be balanced. This may create an issue for the students and teacher when it is time to discuss and share. Evaluate 1 - Summative Assessments

Answer in your blog : What process was used to determine the validity, reliability, and security of the assessment? What was the result? Security  Below are examples of health assessments I created.  The students will be required to turn on a webcam to complete the assessment and ensure security.  It will only be opened for a limited time during scheduled class block.  Students will be required to illustrate a picture of unsafe CPR administration and scan the drawing or take a picture of the drawing and email it for grading (prior to class end time).    Reliability An online live assessment will be administered.  Student will be required to join the quiz at a designated time.  The quiz will be timed and the results will be posted for me to examine.
