How do communication practices in the online environment correlate to effective feedback? Why is authentic feedback important for online learners? In what ways might an instructor enrich a student’s online experience through feedback?

Communication practices in the online environment correlate to effective feedback because the expectation of the discussion is provided for the learner and serves as a tool for success. The learner must meet certain criteria to receive credit for effective communication/feedback. Authentic feedback is important for learners because such feedback is formulated from individuals opinions. The learner tends to be more passionate and expressive when the feedback is authentic. When an instructor gives feedback to the online learner it serves as a guideline or tool for learning for students. Feedback is necessary for the success of the learner.

Evaluate 1 - Summative Assessments

The students will be required to turn on a webcam to complete the assessment and ensure security. It will only be opened for a limited time during scheduled class block. Students will be required to illustrate a picture of unsafe CPR administration and scan the drawing or take a picture of the drawing and email it for grading (prior to class end time). Reliability An online live assessment will be administered. Student will be required to join the quiz at a designated time. The quiz will be timed and the results will be posted for me to examine. Also the individual student test report will be accessible to the student. Accommodations (based off the students IEP) will be provided for students who need additional time....

Communicate 2 - Synchronous Sessions

Discuss this question at length in your blog. Integrating synchronous learning sessions allow students the ability to use apps that are congruent to their learning styles. Communication is more obtainable and easier to achieve. Communication can occur virtually in any environment when using synchronous learning sessions. Communicating via phone requires a person to set aside a time and date to conduct the learning session, therefore the environment must be conducive to all parties to ensure decrease distractions. Also some students are lacking communication skills and are more comfortable with learning through the tool.
