Below are websites that offer a variety of opportunities for learners. Each website helps the learner manage day to day activities more efficiently.

6. EdX.org

Answer: Which sites exemplify sound design ideals?  Why?  Which sites do not adhere to the design elements discussed in this lesson? Why?
1.  Lifehacker is not visual enough to attract the learner.  It's basically articles or blogs with trendy titles.  
2.  MentalFloss is not visually stimulating but it does offer fun quizzes for the learner to access.  
3.  UnplugTV doesn't adhere to design elements.  The page is not very basic but the video are interesting.  It would be helpful if a table of contents or a search engine was incorporated into the website to make the video search easier for the learner.  
4.  Sleepyti.me is an excellent resource.  The website is very low key but and not overbearing.  The calming colors promote sleep.
5.  Keepmeout is very user friendly.  The website is simply  and easy for novice users to follow.
6. & 7.  EdX and Coursera are visually stimulating and user friendly.  The search engine makes it easier to research courses.
8.  Studentrecipe is an excellent resource for finding, creating and publishing recipes.  The website is visually pleasing but many recipes are added to the website without much distinction.
9. Recipepuppy site is very simple and easy to use.  Just type in the ingredients and various recipes will be displayed.
10. Instructables.com is a very well design site. The colors and layout are not overwhelming and thus searching for DYI is much simpler
Artifact: Compare and contrast of design elements.
Two awesome recipe websites for the learner are studenreipes.com and recipelabs.com.  Both sites offer a variety of recipe for the user.    Student recipes is visually pleasing.  It is well organized.  Recipe labs offers a variety of recipes but the user will have to navigate through the website to find the more user friendly aspects of the website.

Pinterest Pinterest is a great educational sharing tool that offers a visual presentation that emphasizes on bookmarking websites, concepts and ideas. Pinterest is an excellent educational  source when searching for visual aids for instruction.   I personally use Pinterest to search for exercise for my students to complete. Create 4 - Aggregating Lesson Material

Answer in your blog : Thinking about instructional design, how does each tool benefit the learner by aggregating and presenting material in a cohesive manner? Are there drawbacks to the tools you researched?  Wix Wix is a free website building platform it's beneficial to the learner because of the flexibility of website design.  Wix is functional because coding is not necessary to create an attractive interchangeable website.  The learner may have the flexibility of creating without restrictions.   The less restrictions allow the learner the opportunity to focus on course expectations verses website design.  In return learning can be fun and interactive.    Lesson material can be easily shared on WIX through adding apps, uploads  and sharing links.  The drawback is it's primary function is design it's not solely a unalloyed CMS although it does have some features that operate as a CMS .  Also...
