Collecting Reputable Digital Resources

Three of the most useful tools or resources resulting from the web walkabout are as follows: BrainPoPKahoot, GoNoodle.  The websites are useful in provided educational content that is age appropriate, stimulating, and challenging.   

For example BrainPop provides detail information regarding a topic.  There are videos that are accessible for students and teachers.  Games are provided to make learning fun.  Students can also take quizzes to asses their knowledge of a particular subject.  The site is visually stimulating and age appropriate.  

Kahoot is a gaming website that allows the user to develop interactive games for learners.  It's a really cool site.  Teachers can give a code to the user to access the game.  The games are timed and intertwined with music to stimulate the learner.  

GoNoodle is an excellent visual and audio tool for students.  The videos are designed for students in various grades.  The information is current thus helping students connect to the lesson.  Current terms that students are familiar with are added to the lesson to help draw the student into the lesson.  GoNoodle helps teachers connect with students socially, emotionally, and educationally.  

Students can be taught to safely collect tools and resources that can help them maximize their learning by teachers providing approved educational links, and continuous education about safe and approved resources.  Rules, regulations, and consequences should be develop to decrease unsafe practices thus promoting proper policy and procedure.

Create 4 - Learning Object Authoring Tools
