Create 2 - Web Tools for Differentiation of Teacher Instruction

Create: Select one of the web tools mentioned in Create and build a new learning focused tool to differentiate instruction.

Answer in your blog: What tool did you choose?  How do you plan to use the tool effectively with students? How does the tool differentiate the lesson? Explain.

Answer: Prezi is the differentiation tool that can be used to instruct the learner.  I will use this tool to provide a visual aid for students to access to further explain the assignment.  When viewing at the diagram students were offered various platforms to complete the assignment.  The tool differentiated the lesson because students could choose between a visual presentation, a written presentation, a group presentation, or a visual auditory presentation.  Providing various options allows each student to complete the assignment thus eliminated barriers.  By offering choices that work best for the learner the lesson is extended sparking creativity and differentiation.

Evaluate 1 - Summative Assessments

Security  Below are examples of health assessments I created.  The students will be required to turn on a webcam to complete the assessment and ensure security.  It will only be opened for a limited time during scheduled class block.  Students will be required to illustrate a picture of unsafe CPR administration and scan the drawing or take a picture of the drawing and email it for grading (prior to class end time).    Reliability An online live assessment will be administered.  Student will be required to join the quiz at a designated time.  The quiz will be timed and the results will be posted for me to examine. Communicate 2 - Synchronous Sessions

Answer in your blog : How does integrating synchronous learning sessions within the online environment assist in developing a learning community for students? Discuss this question at length in your blog. Integrating synchronous learning sessions allow students the ability to use apps that are congruent to their learning styles.  Communication is more obtainable and easier to achieve.  Communication can occur virtually in any environment when using synchronous learning sessions.  Communicating via phone requires a person to set aside a time and date to conduct the learning session, therefore the environment must be conducive to all parties to ensure decrease distractions.    Also some students are lacking communication skills and are more comfortable with learning through the tool.  It in essence takes away the pressure of verbal auditory communication and learning with the teacher and student.  Create and post in your blog :  An outline or l...
