Greeting Parents,
We are jump starting our Healthy Heart Challenge and am enlisting your help...Help your child make a difference by downloading the Health Heart Challenge App to raise donations via online! You can help your child set-up a customize web page with a photo or video and email it to friends and family asking for their support. Donations are made directly to your child's web page – it’s that easy and something the family can do together! Help your child join his/her school team online (or download the app--Kids Heart Challenge) and your family will be one step closer to being Heart Heroes helping to save lives ! Sincerely,Mrs. Cross(Information obtained from the American Heart Association)
News Letter/Flyer
Why is ongoing communication in the online classroom important? How does the newsletter differ from mandatory communications?
Communication in the online classroom is important because it is the primary method of contact. It's a convenient form of communication that doesn't compromise anyone's time. Failure to communicate in the online classroom will effect a student ability to successful complete the course.
A newsletter differs from mandatory communications because it provides updates within the classroom but not necessarily mandatory for the parent to read but greatly encourage. There's not a check and balance with a newsletter. There's no way of knowing if the parent read the newsletter.
