Communicate 2 - Homepages

Reflect: Consider the bulletin board examples in this lesson. Think about the variety of information shared in the bulletin board examples.  What information might you share as an online instructor through your classroom bulletin board?

As an online instructor there are various things that can be shared on an online bulletin board.  Some key points to share on an classroom bulletin board are as follows:

Due Dates---Extremely important to share.  Accountability is expected from the Educator and the Educated.

Upcoming Projects---Students should be aware of upcoming project to plan effectively..considering that all students move at their on pace when completing online work.

Scheduled Breaks---Students should be aware of scheduled breaks because many teachers do not communicate during breaks.  Giving hard communication cut off dates hold all accountable.

Highlight Student Success---Highlighting student success can serve as a motivator for all students.  Students want to see their success shared with others.

It is my goal to expose students to CMS to encourage them to create educational website that can be shared with others.   StudyBlue and Stacks are excellent sources to use because students can review key terms and definitions to prepare for assessments.  I plan to use StudyBlue and Stacks to encourage students to take notes during instruction.   Standard E--To create a safe working environment I will educate my students about  plagiarism and the importanc...
