Communicate 2 - News Items

As an online instructor I plan to incorporate news items and announcements by sending daily and weekly reminders to ensure that students and parents are informed of the course expectations. Communication, check and balance, and overall support is greatly needed when teaching the online learner to ensure success.

Although there are various resource to utilize, I would frequently use Power Point, Padlet, and Canva.

Answer in your blog : What process was used to determine the validity, reliability, and security of the assessment? What was the result? Security Below are examples of health assessments I created. The students will be required to turn on a webcam to complete the assessment and ensure security. It will only be opened for a limited time during scheduled class block. Students will be required to illustrate a picture of unsafe CPR administration and scan the drawing or take a picture of the drawing and email it for grading (prior to class end time). Reliability An online live assessment will be administered. Student will be required to join the quiz at a designated time. The quiz will be timed and the results will be posted for me to examine. Also the individual student test report will be accessible to the student. Accommodations (based off the students IEP) will be provided for students who need additional time....

What information might you share as an online instructor through your classroom bulletin board? As an online instructor there are various things that can be shared on an online bulletin board. Some key points to share on an classroom bulletin board are as follows: Due Dates---Extremely important to share. Accountability is expected from the Educator and the Educated. Communicate 1 - Communication Definitions

With the innovations of technology my communication skill have increased. In the past the only true way to communicate was via the telephone or post card in the mail. There are many means or methods of communication (Email, Social Media etc.) making it much easier to express ones'self. As long as electricity is available the various means of communication extends beyond traditional forms of communication. Advancements in technology has clearly altered the classroom. Communication tools are literally in the palm of your hand with the invention of the smart devices (phones, tablets etc.) I believe technology will continue to advance and communication will become ever so increasingly accessible.
